What is Seller Shipping Fee Discount

The Seller Shipping Fee Discount is a promotional feature that allows sellers to offer free shipping to customers for their seller-fulfilled inventory. With this feature, sellers can choose to bear all shipping costs, effectively providing free shipping to buyers.

This discount is set up by the seller in the Seller Center and only applies to products that are shipped through the seller’s own fulfillment process. It does not apply to inventory that is fulfilled by TikTok.

It’s important to note that the Seller Shipping Fee Discount is entirely at the seller’s discretion and can be adjusted or removed at any time through the Seller Center settings.

How to create Seller Shipping Fee Discount

Entrance

  • Seller Center->Marketing-> Promotions-> Shipping fee discount -> Create

  • Promotion Name

  1. Set your period to indefinite and be more competitive all year round, or a specific duration to create a sense of urgency

  • Why doesn’t my product discount show a strikethrough after I set it up?

To maintain customer trust in our platform, strikethrough pricing may not be displayed on your product listings under certain circumstances:

  • Newly Added Products: For newly added products without any sales history, there won’t be any strike-through pricing displayed initially.
  • Step 1: Sellers must generate at least one consumer sale.
  • Step 2: Once an order has been made for at least 24 hours, the listing price should reflect the true retail value of the item to enable the strike-through display.
  • Existing Products: For products with a sales history, strike-through pricing may not be shown to customers if the seller sets a listing price that does not align with the historical price paid for that item. Sellers are advised to review and adjust their listing prices to ensure they reflect the true retail value of the item.
